Digital Christmas

I have a particular interest in this subject, since my grandson's efforts to give my Kodak digital camera a bath were successful.
The camera is definitely cleaner, though it no longer takes pictures. I bought the whole Kodak system some years ago, with the "docking" station that prints pictures immediately, and alot of other features. Pretty easy and convenient; just what I needed. People like me are the folks the manufacturer's are talking about when they say "point & click" consumers.
There are astonishingly good cameras, from Kodak, Canon, and many others, (7, 8, 9, pixels now).
My camera was, I believe, a 4 mega-pixel. I see a 4 mega pixel on Amazon for less than $100, and Staples.com has a brand new 5 mega picel for less than Kodak.com, about $150. Staples also has free shipping (US).
I checked the Good Housekeeping Seal site for cameras that might be covered under their warranty program/seal. None. Lots of vacuums though if that's what you're getting someone.
I can't load up any pictures for you yet, still not working on my own computer. The "moving" saga continues....
